Creating a new business hub

Our team was commissioned by Helical Governetz Ltd to produce a masterplan for the Highfield Commercial: Waverly scheme. This is the employment component of the Waverley New Community Masterplan. The Helical Governetz initiative seeks to locate hubs of government/civil service occupiers in high quality environments and BREEAM Excellent buildings. The scheme is to be developed on an historic coal extraction site that has been regenerated over recent years. Its will deliver up to 4,000 homes along with supporting schools, services, retail and community functions. The highfield Commercial scheme will deliver 60,000 m2 of high quality offices following sustainable development principle. In addition, a 120 rooms hotel will be developed, along with 975 m2 of ancillary/retail/restaurant.
