Adapting traditional design for contemporary housing

The design of each of the four detached dwellings reflects the contemporary adaptation of the traditional farm home using a mix of natural timber and stone materials, common to the area. The internal design of the units provides free flow of air through the building, providing a natural stack effect for ventilation in the summer months, which allowing free flow of heated air through the homes from a common source in the winter months.
