Regenerating brownfield land in the heart of the thames gateway

In collaboration with Barton Willmore, a comprehensive master planning service for Eastern Quarry for Land Securities; a key sustainable mixed use community for the Thames Gateway Region. At 270ha, the scheme is thought to be one of Europe’s largest brownfield regeneration schemes and lies at the forefront of design practice in terms of both the vision for the scheme proposed and the unique, iterative design process driving the proposals forward.

We are evolving the project into a community centred around a public transport, orientated layout split into three villages with each creating a local centre for 6,250 proposed households.
