Providing a vision for mixed-use eco developments
Raf Coltishall is a former air base located approximately 14 km north of Norwich compromising 260ha of disused brownfield land. In collaboration with Barton Willmore, we produced a vision for a model eco settlement of up to 5,000 new homes together with schools, offices, light industry, training retail and leisure use.
A new Norfolk Broad is designed to provide sustainable urban drainage and home for local animals and plants. The vision encompasses management of development activities to minimise the risk of pollution and contamination and aims of biodiversity. Environmental, social and economic concerns are addressed at a development-wide level.
